why are you people wasting one single second of energy on this thread. There's a zero (yes, I said zero) chance of us winning out. Actually, 2-2 would be outstanding, although unlikely.
Look, I love the Tigers, but we're terribly flawed this year. Yes, I liked the wins over FL and KY, but Ole Miss and Bama are entirely different beasts.
Optimism is fine, but you've got to try to stay realistic.

If we all are 2-2 against each other it goes to record within the division.
True, but that only matters if the division records are different. Unless every team picks up a loss outside the group and is tied at 5-3 (still possible, but even more unlikely), the next tiebreaker that will change anything will be East opponent record.

Only if the other teams only lost to SEC West teams. Auburn would have to lose to Bama, and not UGA, and honestly, even if we beat Bama, we'll be behind them in the rankings if they win out, so that makes it a useless hypothetical.
You would need Ole Miss and LSU to be basically be the only 2 loss teams for this to work out, because LSU would potentially move past Ole Miss if they lost two straight.

O.K., I'll play along. It's a slow day at work.
LSU is in the SEC Championship game...IF they win out, AND...
Auburn - loses two games against South Carolina, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Georgia, and/or Bama.
Ole Piss - Loses to Auburn or Arkansas
Miss. St. - Loses 3 games against Kentucky, Arkansas, Alabama, Vanderbilt and/or Ole Miss.
That would put LSU, Ole Miss and Bama (if they win all except LSU) all with 2 losses. LSU would win the tie-breaker. That's the simplest path.
If others are in the tie breaker, then who knows. It would come down to record within the division and opponents records.
That being said let's just get bowl eligible.

Miss Cleo! So, what year do we win the next championship? I don't wanna waste another single of energy or dime watching this team play.

So you're saying there's a chance!

This scenario works out favorable for LSU because it means we have to beat 2 top 4 opponents which means the other top 4 sec teams will lose to sub top 5 sec opponents. We beat ole miss, they drop, we beat ala, they drop. That puts us ahead. Ms st will drop considerably if they lose to ala and ole miss. Auby drops big losing to ala because it's the final game

Never, ever turn your back on a TIGER, especially an LSU TIGER.

well looks like you wasted a few mins of energy to come here and post this. People on here are just more optimistic than you...doesn't mean this is a dumb thread. The chances of us winning out are low but certainly doable.
Just have a little faith man

Am I correct that if all is tied with losses in the West, that the Highest ranked team goes to the SEC Championship?
No that is not correct.
Actually, he is. First, look at head-to-head, and if it's a three-way stalemate, traditionally, the highest ranked BCS team would move on to the SEC championship. Going forward, it'll probably be the same deal, except with the committee rankings as opposed to BCS.

LoyalTiger... your quote at the bottom can be changed to include 2011. LSU won several computer rankings that year.

No, they got rid of that with the new committee because it takes several days for them to come out with the rankings.

Already are. FCS games count, remember?

Not really. We can tie with Mississippi St. or Auburn, but there would have to be another team in the mix. We could tie with Ole Miss and Miss. St. or with Alabama and Auburn, for instance.
Being the only two-loss team with a team you beat is the simplest way though.
