You're thinking about Harold Camping's prediction that the world would end on May 21 of last year. How can you not know about 12/21/12? Have you been living under a rock? The Mayan calendar ends on that day. Some people think that the Mayans, who sacrificed virgins so that it would rain the next day, were smart enough to predict the end of the world.
