You realize that we have a top running game, top defense and top special teams, don't you? Because of that, we'll always be working with the short side of the field. That means much lower offensive stats...tard

We saw that on 1/9 and now it has reared up its ugly head once again. They have to pass to keep the defenses more honest. And the drops are not helping either.

I don't think we really saw it nearly that much at all on Saturday. Coaches seemed quite happy and quick to call a passing play. In the end, the drops REALLY kill us. A TD, another 40 yard play, several first downs...BIG plays.

Mett is the difference, they trust him to throw the ball. Once we stop dropping passes, all will fall into place.

But you have to question the playcalling when we insist on running the ball even when the opposition loads the box with 8 or 9 players. We saw that on 1/9 and now it has reared up its ugly head once again.

Seriously? I mean, seriously? How can you possibly compare the play calling, quarterback play or the results of those two games. If you are, then I have just one question, what color is the sky in your world?

Rushing Offense - 16th

That is who this team is - a rushing team. There is not going to be a time where this team is a top rated passing offense it will always be throw it occasionally but run people over.

Combine that with
quote:

Passing Defense - 8th
Rushing Defense - 3rd
Total Defense - 4th
Scoring Defense - 8th

and you have a team capable of beating anyone and winning championships.

All you who think we need to be Top 10 total offense really lack a football IQ.

I can't stand these numbers as they don't mean anything unless everyone played the same teams !!Sheeesh! The only thing I know is we have sucked at passing this year?.

I agree running the football and great defense is key to championships. But, I am concerned if we cannot throw downfield when teams put 10 near the line to stop the run.

Which explains the fact that we are winless?

The sad part is that i think that is an improvement

And you are incorrect. JL was more efficient. Fewer turnovers and perfect in the red zone. Now afeer Les's better half returned, things went back where they had been. In the toilet.
