I put 70 hours into the game on PS4 and I had my ancient fruit farm and greenhouse rolling, I only quit bc I heard it was coming out on switch and it's basically the perfect platform for it.

Very excited, also, it gets multiplayer next year, on switch first. This game will be even more awesome with muliplayer.

Golf Story and this is a solid week for me with the Switch. Plus I got a trip in two weeks so I've got something for the flight now

How will that work?

I have not played it yet because the second I saw it was coming to the switch last winter on the reveal trailer, I instantly cancelled any thoughts about buying it before tomorrow. So excited to experience it

P.S: I will be buying this and golf story on Friday. My poor PS4 is just collecting dust

All I have left to do in the game is collect everything. I already completed the storylines.

The last thing I was working on was the storylines, I spent 60 hours getting the ancient fruit + fruit tree farm going in the greenhouse and married Abigail.

I was just going around handing people fresh fruit everyday and their fav items on their birthdays.

kinda excited to start over. gonna lay the farm out differently and may even choose a different farm plot.

Bumping this thread. Recently discovered Stardew Valley and having a blast. The Switch is the perfect platform for it.

I’ve never played Harvest Moon or by other farm sim games but apparently I’ve been missing out because Stardew is fantastic.

I also tried to start Minecraft finally for the first time the other day. While the initial rush of building a shelter and a few items was exciting, Minecraft then just becomes “too sandbox” for my tastes.

I was glad I found Stardew Valley shortly after because you have a lot of similar crafting as a Minecraft, but with a lot more charm in my opinions and an actual story. That initial opening scene of your farmer toiling away at his cubicle desk job and decides to put it all behind him just hits home with so many people and got me hooked immediately.

I started playing again last weekend. Love this game. I tend to play on one monitor while watching / listening to a playthrough on Youtube.

Its really a great game. Its my go-to when I'm between games and it's what I play in the bed before going to sleep at night.

There's really a lot of stuff to do, it's amazing one guy developed this, makes me want to try to design a game.

Very rewarding, esp late game when you get the greenhouse rolling and banking from ancient fruit wine
