I went into the draft season high on gilislee, but injuries and burkhead playing well , and adp of both guys, I got burkhead late. After 1 game,, And bill doing his thing, I'm ready to dump burkhead, and throw another dart. I'm leaning on picking up Smallwood. Thoughts?

Hold tight man

You want to dump him for a back that's in a similar situation in a worse offense ?

I'm holding one more week but what is his role. White had 10 carries between the 20s, Gilleslee manned short yardage and GL, so where does Burkhead fit in? Don't see much value outside of an injury

With all the injuries to the WRs, he might get more reps as WR.

They should reverse Ty Montgomery him and start him in the slot

If anything, put White in the slot since he's quicker. Burkhead arguably had the best run of all RBs on that 14-yard jaunt.

With the wr injuries, I thought he might see more action down the road, but they have other RBs that catch the ball. Similar situation in philly, but Smallwood could be the best over two old specialist backs. Personal History tells me not to trust bill. I have khunt, ajayai, Hyde and Powell. So I'm not desperate , i could use another home run. Also get points for return yards, which apparently Smallwood will be doing.

I think Rex is the third back in NE but with the Patriots that could change at a moment's notice. White looked good running the ball and receiving it out of the backfield too. Not sure Rex's value right now unless there's an injury or they move him to a slot WR role.

I'd still hold for a couple of more weeks until things get a little more settled in NE.
