Wku assistant coach, who was Mitchell Robinson's good father, resigned. Any chance he gets out of LOI?

I have no idea.
Unless there were shenanigans or tomfoolery associated with Robinson's recruitment that Robinson were to decide to threaten exposure of as a means of blackmailing WKU into a release.
Wade seems like just the kind of go-getter who might orchestrate something like that.
Hell, perhaps an impromptu trade - Wayde Sims and a duffel bag full of paintballs in return for Mitchell Robinson.

I would imagine Robinson has to sit out at this point, no way WKU just flat out releases him in July.

I would assume the same, and Robinson is a one-and-done anyway so there would be no point in it.

That'd be even better, but it appears he's told everybody that's his plan.
I'd be fine with a team that had Smart, Reid and Robinson all playing together. That would be acceptable, if unlikely.
