Looking back at the last month I fully grasp how hard it is to win CWS

Starting with conference tourney that affects seeding
Winning regional
Winning supers
Coming out of your half of the CWS bracket
Winning a best of 3 final

It's exhausting just thinking about all the team had to do just to fall short.

It just sucks.

Winning a championship is a grueling journey....with not much room to screw up at all once you get to regional time.

Skip always said it was the hardest collegiate NC to win.

It is harder than winning the basketball tournament IMHO.

Going all out for the Conference Tournament Championship was unnecessary. We were already a National seed after beating Kentucky. More innings for your pitching could catch up to you doing this.

Baseball is pretty fricked up. I've been meaning to devote a thread to a discussion on it but didn't want to seem like just sour grapes.

How did going all out hurt this team? In this years tourney they pitched all three weekend starters on full rest for Lange and one extra day rest for Poche and Walker. Didn't over due any of them. Lsu just hit the ball well that weekend and won the games. I don't think it took any extra effort to do so.

That's why not winning this one is a tough one to swallow. Because when you look back at the road to win one it's extremely difficult. So when you do come this far you got to get them when you can. I mean shite it's been 8 years since we last were in this position.

Yea I'm low key happy it's over. I wish it ended tomorrow but to be mentally free from it is nice. This shite has taken a toll on me.
