It's hard to remember repressed memories

We have one of these every week.

Last week was apparently Predator.

We're getting to that time for our generation when there is some "big" film to be remember at all times.

It was amazing how quickly Batman went total camp.

Although weirdo directed the first one...it didn't have stupid punch-lines and "pow" and "bam" and "zam" - Keaton movie was legit...it was faithful to the comic book unlike Nolans - but not stupid punchline Arnold camp.

Most times, I say "Holy shite, has X already been out for x long, I feel so old" but with this, I feel like it's been longer than 20 years lol.

even as a kid I knew it was pretty bad....but the toys were awesome so

Batman Forever was just as bad but doesn't catch the same amount of shite

I know it's fun to shite on George Lucas, but shouldn't? shoemaker get just as much nerd hate? George ruined his own creation, Joel ruined comic book movies for a decade.

The difference is that Joel has actually apologized for Batman & Robin while George seems to take delight in pissing off and dicking with fans of his movies.

My kids loved Batman and Robin. As a dad, I much preferred them getting into Schumacher's ridiculous camp over Burton's depressing crap.

We also had the Dini/Timm Batman on FOX and WB. All was well.
