Water clarity at Elmer's Island

With the rain the Last few days, how long will it be before the water clears up around Elmer's and Grand Isle? I want to go tomorrow but I'm not sure it'll be clear enough.

I'll give you a report on water conditions after I go fish this afternoon. Nice little north wind right now and coffee on the porch

Heading to the camp this afternoon, and will fish behind Elmer's tomorrow morning. Hopefully the tides will bring in some clean Gulf water.

I'm hearing they caught some good specs in the surf this morning. Any luck?

Wind direction will determine that more than rain imo.

Limit of nice trout between dawn and 9 .. a couple of 25" .,, around the bridge side jetties ... water was nice and getting better ... conditions changing though from north wind to east this afternoon ... SE tomorrow but very light ... I expect the bite to big on morning

Water looks decent. Damn this east wind but the moon and tide should overcome that. Hoping wind lays down. Lot of shrimp boats out front have it stirred up in spots
