I was reading this trivia and found it entertaining. Figured I would post and let y'all enjoy.

12. LSU Once upon a time, students used to live at Tiger Stadium. As in, there were literally dorms installed into the stadium for more than 50 years. The football team even lived in them at one point. Though they were vacated years ago, the dorms still stood until recently, when they were mostly demolished and could make way for a food court and sports bar, according to athletic director Joe Alleva. -- Khan

21. Florida Since 1993, a sign reading "Work 'em silly, Gators" has been a constant at home games. Pete Calamore, a Florida alumnus, has been bringing the sign and hanging it in the northeast corner of the stadium for home games since then. The words are spray-painted on a white bedsheet. Jeri Spurrier, wife of Steve Spurrier, told Calamore in 1995 that she looked for the sign at every game. It has traveled to road games as well, and Calamore said LSU fans stole it and shredded it before the '97 LSU-Florida game. Calamore has missed only one home game since he started bringing it, and another fan brought it for him that day. -- Khan

Saaaaayyyyy,
is there any co-relation between so many folks leaving early and the dorms being demolished? Maybe the SS has lost it's edge now that no one lives in the stadium any longer.
I always thought that they should refurbish those, make them REALLY high end, and sell a game weekend experience including staying in the Stadium Dorms.

I remember someone throwing a Bama fans shaker off of TS one game and he nearly cried.

Ohio Stadium also formerly had dorms in the stadium. I believe Notre Dame did as well but they laughably didn't make the top 25 so we'll never know
Also, here is the link LINK

Tennessee did too, they're still used as offices currently. It's not all that uncommon honestly.

My old man lived in Tiger Stadium back in the 80's when he was in Tiger Band.

my brother stayed a semester or so in one of the stadium dorms.
I knew some others that did also, in later years.
Those used to be pretty wild if I remember right.

I still have a piece of that sheet somewhere in my attic!
