Watch The West Wing if your SO gets bothered by "ok"

My wife and I are watching The West Wing. Great series that I highly recommend. Anyway, it's a dialogue heavy show, and the characters say "ok" so often that it stands out how often they say it.
Prior to watching this show, my wife would sometimes get bothered by me saying simply "ok" to her. She would ask why I don't have anything to add, as if I just don't care about the conversation. This would happen in texts and in person. But now she sees how acceptable it is to say only "ok" when confirming to someone else you heard what they said and have no further thoughts on the matter. I've been able to just say "ok" a lot more without follow up questioning since we started watching the show. It's great.
If you have the same issue with your SO, I recommend watching The West Wing together and see if the issue persists. It's on Netflix.

You know what I think would be OK? A board where television shows and possibly even movies could be discussed.

You should start a " tag your spouse " Facebook post with this

Who's trying to discuss The West Wing? This is a relationship advice/observation thread that relates to a TV show. I'm guessing you didn't perform well on the reading comprehension portion of standardized tests.

I would need to have Facebook and know what a "tag your spouse" post is. What is this, 2007?

What past experiences have led you to conclude that a woman who likes to talk and watch political dramas must be in a sexual relationship with a black man? You want to talk about it?

I meant the channel. She's been watching Fawlty Towers on the side

She must be since I won't watch it with her. I can't understand British people.

Do you have a TV in the kitchen? If not, then why is she watching TV?
