By next year, after losing $700 million between 2014 and 2016.

I'll go ahead and get ahead of BamaAtl and blame Republicans. Of course, it doesn't matter what Republicans do or don't do, if everybody leaves the exchanges the law would fail anyway.

If we spend enough money, healthcare will be free.

If lawmakers believe healthcare is a fundamental right then make it so....say it and pay for it and find the monies they already receive as we foot the bill for a lot of crap that doesn't rise to the level of a fundamental right. Quite the damn charade, the insured have always paid for the under and uninsured and still do to this day.

I'm fine with free healthcare for all paid for by the government as long as get rid of all other forms of welfare.

Solid trade. What are your feelings on Universal Basic Income combined with free healthcare for all as a substitute for any and all federal public assistance including housing?

I already made my offer. The poors get free healthcare and nothing else.

Works for me. This insatiable need to enable has to be curbed.
When we go to war all I hear is 'what is your exit strategy'...fine, fair question, AND the same needs to be applied to domestic programs

The free rider problem is magnified to the nth degree on a single payer model.
One of the most fundamental misconceptions of socialized medicine is that people only use the healthcare system when they're sick. The reality is that people use the healthcare system when they want to and when they have access.
