Hope everyone is patient, it will take time for Wade to turn this around

He's young but I think this will be a benefit in recruiting.
He's smart and appears to be a quality coach.
Donovan was only 30 when he was hired at Florida and he had losing records his first two seasons with the Gators while he rebuilt the roster.
Wade faces a big rebuilding job obviously so give him time.

Took Dale Brown 7 years to win 20 Games!!!

It would be really cool if he's the next Billy Donovan.

Program is broke and will take 3 years to fix.

Admittedly, it's going to take time. Hopefully Brown and Temple will keep their fricking mouths shut in terms of trying to tell him how to run the program. I am thinking their credibility took a big blow with JJ's demise. I remember Brown for the good times, but we had some troubles near the end of his tenure and it was past time for him to cash his chips in. As for Temple, he hasn't done many favors that didn't benefit him in some way, so it wasn't exactly all altruism. I would just as soon he stick to running his group homes and leave LSU BB alone.

Wade took Sean Mobley out of Montverde in Florida this year.
There is an uncommitted player at Montverde named Sandro Mamukelashvili who's a Top 100 recruit. Mamukelashvili is a 6-10 power forward with a skill set a little like a Dirk Novitzki.
I wouldn't be totally shocked if Wade got LSU involved in him. He hasn't narrowed his list down much, and with Ben Simmons and Jalyn Patterson both having gone there LSU has a connection to that program and so does Wade.

Exactly. Best thing we all can do is just support the hell out of him and let him build this thing with the right players and personnel to be successful.

If he doesn't have us with 5 wins by June I am calling his hire a fail.

He will get support until he has lost a game and then The Rant will rip him apart like Football and Baseball Coach!!

All it takes is one big time recruit to change the landscape. Jones blew that chance with Simmons.

No. Just no. It takes a team of players who stay for multiple years. Program guys.
You have to have both an inside game and outside game. One guy won't change anything. Keith Hornsby type players. Guys who stay 4 years and learn the system.
One big time recruit ain't crap.

I agree, but the coaching fundamentals will be immediate and should translate to some wins with what talent he has returning!
Go Tigers

bullshite if Johnny fricking Jones can win 19 games with nothing his first year Wade should be able to win 20 and have us as a bubble or NIT lock. Don't start setting expectations so low we can't fail. Wade is good we will win games.

That's because LSU was awful for a long time before he got there - they couldn't even win with the greatest college basketball player of all time in Pistol Pete. At least there was a nice payoff with Brown becoming the 2nd winningest coach in SEC history.
Since so many players leave early these days , it's easier to get a few studs and make some noise in the tourney just a few years in as a coach, so hopefully we can do that.

I'm Patient
One thing about Basketball is 'positive progression is very noticeable' and that's what we're looking for.

Depending on who returns, the roster is not bare. There are some holes, but there is some talent. He will not be starting from scratch.
If Blakeney returns, the guards will be deep, which is something Wade's system needs.
