The Winston Cup Series is coming to Atlanta next weekend and thought I would take my daughter down to see the festivities. Probably wouldn't stay for the race or at least wouldn't stay long. My daughter just turned 2. Is there a lot to do for young kids at these races? Anyone been to AMS lately?

I am concerned about traffic getting TO the race and because we would leave after a few laps i'm not too concerned about traffic after the race. I've heard getting out of AMS is miserable after a race.

Thanks for any insight.

Not worth the effort (for a short attention span tyke) of hours in traffic to get there, which you will spend unless you leave home several hours before the race. Either way, it's a long arse day for a 2 year old. Could be a long hike from car to track as well.
