Green Giant
I've seen these advertised but haven't tried them. Has anyone here?
Darla are you the Green Giant chef?

My fiancee actually brought a couple of bags home yesterday. We'll probably try one tomorrow. I'll report back whenever we do.

I have the cauliflower/sweet potato one in the freezer. I'll probably try it with roast and gravy this weekend

I use them 50/50 with ground beef in tacos, spaghetti, etc. It cuts the calories in half and doesn't sacrifice flavor because you still have some meat in there.
I don't like it in the place of rice. At the end of the day, it's still a vegetable and isn't going to serve the same function that rice does for me. Same reason I don't do zucchini noodles. I'd rather use the 2oz serving of pasta you're really supposed to eat and then load it up with protein and vegetables. Much more filling.

I despise cauliflower, but I've used the mashed potatoes cauliflower with Salisbury steak and gravy and I can enjoy it.

We tried the cheddar and bacon version of the mashed cauliflower just this week, and both of us enjoyed it. My problem with cauliflower has always been the texture, and with this dish, texture isn't really an issue. I'll buy it again, and probably try the others.

I'm going to look at Rouses today. Wife is cooking a big chuck roast so I think I'll try them.
Wonder how the tots are.

What a coincidence! I've been looking for the Green Giant cauliflower rice, because buying riced cauliflower at Whole Foods is expensive! I didn't know about the tots or the roasted versions.
The coincidence is that today I discovered that Walmart carries it. I rushed over and started piling them in my basket when I noticed that the cauliflower has different flavorings and seasonings (garlic, herb, Italian cheese, lightly sauced and plain) and they were out of the plain version, which would've been the lowest carbs. Grrrr! I bought of the herbed, I think and will try one tonight.
For frozen riced cauliflower in general, all I've been doing is cooking them in a dry skillet at a moderate heat and usually by the time all of the moisture is gone, they are done. I've had much better success getting the frozen version (as opposed to fresh cauliflower crumbles) to be more rice-like.
ETA: Rouses here didn't have them, but they do have fresh cauliflower crumbles, which aren't as finely diced.

Well, after all that, the brand I have is Birds Eye. It has little frozen pieced that is the sauce. I was able to pick those out before cooking. Meh.
