Just look at Alabama. They've been playing defensive ends at running back and having a lot of success in doing so. One of them even won the Heisman.

Hell, even Trent Richardson looked like an NFL back running behind that OLD.

I could average 5 ypc running behind that line.

More so than the oline, their defense getting 3 and out after 3 and out wears down the opposing defense. Their backs tend to do the most damage late in games.

CEH is way underrated too. Finally watched his highlights the other week and was really impressive

Great first post and you're right. He could be the next great RB at LSU.

OL----Bama, teaching a technique there, Hike, 1 one thousand, hold like a MFer, 1,2,3 one thousand-let go.

On every play, when they punt, when they run, when they pass. The f'ing water boy is holding somebody on the sideline. Never if ever gets called. That's why they are so successful. All they do is skirt shite on and off the field. And hey they will take it doing it that way. The only people that think they are so great are themselves, Main stream media and ESPN. And they still could not beat Clemson.

They will get their's soon from the a Tigers...the LSU Tigers that is...

Notice that wasn't the case against Clemson?

And note the outcome for good measure.

That to me is enough anecdotal evidence to see to it that the SEC never assign another SEC officiating crew to a game involving Alabama. Contract refs from another conference to call Bama games and let's see if they can continue to own the SEC every year.

The flagrant holding by multiple Bama OL on Hurts' TD run against LSU is as bad a non-call as you'll ever see in sports.

Exactly ......think about this LSU played that game almost perfectly.....and it takes a call like that for Alabama to beat us.

Aranda has got bama's number......

If Canada stretches those fat lbs and line men..... You will see a run by the Tigers over the mouth breathers for quiet a few years.... As long as we have those two we are golden. Les was predictable.... Saban had to do nothing and he new LF7 was the mark. Clemson, Oklahoma, Ohio state, Ole Miss --all spread Bama out and beat them . With guice, a seasoned etling, and a play caller with some imagination. Boom

Oh Canada!

Will be a brave new world with Canada at the helm.

What the hell does this have to do with the fact that we are unquestionably light at RB talent after Guice.

Best RB in state is a no Brainer!!! AJ Carter
Just picked up UCLA offer has Notre Dame FSU and Arkansas breatheing down his neck as well.

Powerful down hill back with break away speed.

What if Guice gets hurt in game 1 this Fall? That would be a major problem.

I think brossete is more than capable and he should be #2 this year. He seems to be completely healed up I'm anxious to see what he does. I really think we had 3 nfl backs this year just brossete was to far down depth

How does this get downvotes?

I didn't give a downvote (or upvote).. but if I had to guess:

quote:

point at Guices performance and say, "that can literally be you the next 3 years"

..it was because of this comment.

Guice is rare. So, no that won't be anyone else in the next 3 years.

This.

Cmon dude... do I really need to spell it out for you?

Miles thrived on the power back... Scott, Hester, Ridley, Ware, Hilliard, Hill, Fournette.

Yes, the numbers and "talent" MAY be light after Guice. But we won't require one certain type of back with Canada's offense. This will open our options in the 2018 recruiting class.

If he didn't think to do that with Fournette as the example he's one dumb summabitch
