Zwave repeater and SmartThings hub

I have some appliance modules that control my landscape lighting and they are pretty far away from the hub and are not consistent.
I found two Zwave repeaters(extenders?) on amazon and looking for any feed back on these.

Any zwave switch or outlet should extend the network. Those wouldn't be more useful to you?

I have plenty of switches and outlets. These are located outside and far away from any switch

I'm confused a little. Where/how are you installing repeaters where some type of zwave device wouldn't make more sense?
I have 2 zwave devices roughly 130ft away from my hub and both are always online (they are in opposite directions so they aren't acting as repeaters).
Make sure nothing metal is near your hub or the zwave device.
Eta I have a wink hub but would assume ST HUB is similar range.

This is about 60 feet from the furthest switch or outlet and on the other side of 2 brick walls
About 150 feet from hub. The devices won't respond to the commands

That Aeon Labs piece works good. I've never seen an issue with them. I'm not guaranteeing it's gonna fix your problem but it not only repeats it also amplifies the signal.

Price: $29.95
why not spend another $3 and get something like this:
zwave plug in lamp module
that way you get zwave repeating and the ability to control something on that outlet?
eta amazon has an 'open box' one for $26 at that link from amazon warehouse.

i understand you saying that a switch extends the signal.
I actually have dimmer that is only 20-30 feet from the outdoor modules but for some reason i can not consistently control the modules(lighting in oak tree)
carramrod come over and troubleshoot? i have GITM
maybe my wifii signal is weak there? its in my shops Ramrod

has nothing to do with zwave.

metal walls? that could likely be the issue.

So, this might be something that is way too elementary and you've already tried it...But I dicked around with this forever when I first got my first zwave stuff setup...
Did you try to repair your mesh to see if that would fix every thing without buying anything new?
