America First, imv, is simply DJT acknowledging

that we, possibly for even good reasons post-WWII, must realize that those practices of ours which resulted in our being not only the global enforcer but also its charity chest have outlived their shelf life. We will care for our own first before we bleed ourselves into anemia. In trade our relationships are in need of balanced. In foreign affairs we are no longer held hostage by the OPEC cartel and the two faced, blood spilling manner in which they operate. We must return to our pre-BHO alliances while expecting them to shoulder more of the financial responsibility in NATO, as an example. We can no longer afford to underwrite their socialist ways of governance. At home, we must return to a modicum of civilty which includes dealing with criminals as criminals. We must provide environments and corresponding policies/practices which seek to break the reliance upon the government for one's means of living...we must radically how we educate our children by providing alternatives for those who desire same. Civil servants must see their primary and sole responsibility to serve We the People...responsive and second to none customer service. America First is about attending to matters/needs at home first and putting We the People in a position to realize successes of the American Dream. America First is not about isolation as we will secure our homeland, economically and militarily. America First is not about turning back the social change clock but rather returnibg us to being the Land of Opportunity for all who aspire a better present and tomorrow
