Other than Kiffin

Serious question. Would like to know what offenses we might install. I remember hearing Ensminger would step back down to TE coach if O was hired.

He needs a homerun. If not kiffin then sark maybe? Briles?

Chip Lindsay, ASU
Major Applewhite, Houston (though he might go to Texas)
Sterling Gilbert, Texas
Steve Sarkisian

Admittedly, I don't know who runs spread vs pro style like O wants.

Best to keep with current trends and promote from the current staff that understands LSU

Not sure what the consensus is among the fans right now. Do you want adjustments of the pro style offense that we have been seeing every year? Or a completely revamped system?

Major Applewhote cant go to Texas cuz of ongoing litigation. So coming here is a real possibility

Pro-style is what's being run in the NFL. Seems to work for Dallas and New England. They use some shotgun with a power running game. Today's adapted pro-style looks like an air raid to LSU fans. I would call Bama pro-style still, buy they incorporate some spread elements.

Kiffin is a mix of pro and spread. I think that's what LSU needs to do for recruiting and to beat Bama. Kiffin or Sark would be quality OC's

Scooby, so you're saying the new pro style? One thing people were saying about Herman is he runs out of the shotgun exclusively, even though he runs a lot. Not sure if that was what we were going for. Those offenses make it easier for QBs since they have easy reads.

Yea, we say that until the Bama game every year, and then we go through this coach firing process all over again.

It will probably be Sark, he's one of O's buddies and he runs that all-powerful USC offense that we just have to run.

Correct me if I'm wrong: I thought USC under Sark ran more of the old school pro-style?

Sark is the one that took O's dream job from him at USC

could actually help Sark this time around... O could look at it as a "come full circle" type of thing, and that he has gotten the last laugh...
