Am I the only person who prefers Paul McCartney and Wings to the Beatles?

I just think, and always have, that Wings has better songs. I realize that this is musical blasphemy to some, but it is also why we are all different people.

To each his own, and Wings had some good songs, but I have always hated some of the disco shite that Paul did with Wings. I am a big George fan though and I personally think that All Things Must Pass alone is better than any other Beatles solo album, with Plastic Ono Band being a near second.

Yes. Don't get me wrong, Paul McCartney recorded some great tracks with Wings, but you just can't beat the shear volume and diversity of the Beatles Catalog. No one can match it.

It's almost incomprehensible that songs like "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", "Dear Prudence", "If I Fell", "A Day in the Life", "Eleanor Rigby", "Helter Skeltar", "Bad Boy", "I Want You (She's So Heavy)", ect all came from the same band.

Considering the results of the recent election, no, I don't think you are the only one.

The closest thing to Beatles-quality that was released by a solo Beatle is the All Things Must Pass album by George Harrison.

Top 10 album of all time, imo.

Probably but one of my favorite Paul songs was with Wings
"Love take me down to the streets"

I am with you...not a huge Beatles fan---like it, but don't love it.

I really like just about all the Wings library.

Honestly I don't think I will ever get tired of Band on the Run or Venus and Mars/Rock Show
