Have we ever had 2 backs go over 1,000 yds and have 10+ TDs?

Guice has 881 yds, 8.72 YPC and 9 TDs
Fournette has 803 yds, 6.86 YPC and 8 TDs

With 3 games left to go both will easily get it barring any injury.

Has LSU ever had 2 backs do that before?

Toefield and Davis or Faulk and Collins would be the only possible combos...but I don't think they achieved this.

Never. I believe Alabama's Lacy/Yeldon were the last to have two 1,000 yard rushers in the SEC.

FYI - LSU has never had 2 RB's in same season eclipse the 1,000 yd mark

Not in the 35 years I've been following LSU.

As far as offensive records, I think the best we've ever done is having two 1000 yard receivers and a 1000 yard rusher.

Correct. Last SEC duo to have two in one season was Lacy/Yeldon for Bama. Before them, it was in 2007, McFadden/F. Jones.

However, it would be quite an accomplishment if LSU could pull this feat off.

What about Arkansas two or so years ago. Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams

While the comparison is apt, I don't think Garry James ever got 1000 yds in a season.

Robiskie and Alexander were probably the closest.

Fournette is done at LSU. No need for him to keep hurting that ankle. I doubt we see him dress again until the bowl game maybe.
