LG OLED B6 or C6 gaming

My beloved Panasonic g25 finally kicked the bucket this morning and now fast tracking a new TV purchase.
Originally I was holding out for OLED prices to come down, but now I am not sure I have a choice.
I know that first generation OLED TVs had slow input response times. However sounds like the 2016 generation is pretty good. The c6 and b6 models can be had for the same price right now and wondering if anyone has any first hand experience.
It is down to that or buying a cheaper led model till better OLED models come available

Not a gamer but I can tell you OLED is not the best for HDR content.
Just buy a good TV now with HDR. Don't think there will be another game changer until 8K. By that time TVs will be a bunch of modular panels.

I would think in most circumstances the OLED picture quality is far superior to any LCD television set.
Unless you are referring to the input response time of hdr content of lg OLED televisions.

There was a 55" B6 on slickdeals.com yesterday for $1499. Thats one of the lowest prices that I've seen.
