Ed Orgeron named Donte Jackson the starter on kickoffs this week. He hints that he may start returning punts soon, too. #LSU

Possibly add Brossette into that mix if the game turns into a blowout... We will have a NASTY behemoth in the backfield

Except the Williams isn't very good. Any carry give to him is a wasted play. Even if he manages to get 8-10 yards, LF7 or DG5 could have gotten more.

RB rotation means 60/40 split between 7 and 5.

Not sure of any blowout. Consider that the Black Bears put up a lot of points against bama's unbelievable defense as well as against the hawg's and Noles'. Gonna have to out score them, my take.

They are going to put up points no doubt. The team can't afford to take the first half off that for sure.

Admittedly Mizzou wasn't all that, but didn't he run for over 100 yards against them?

I see his runs as body blows to the Ole Miss defense that softens it up for Fournette and Guice.

I'd like to see LSU put him in at FB and fake the dive to him; my wife would always point at that when he was in at FB under Les he was getting the ball.

I see Williams as a battering ram type guy. Not as many carries as our featured backs, but at the end of the game when the defense is tired of running into/after Guice and Fournette, Darrel is there to destroy humans and absolutely break their will to live. Or at least I hope that's how it plays out

ok i have reconsidered my comment. Williams is talented, I guess I just dont put him in that same category as the Guice and Fournette.

Well duh he's not anywhere near guice and especially fournette. Those are the best 2 backs in the sec.
30-40 carries total
18-22 LF7
8-12 guice
1-2 Williams
And add couple extra touches out the backfield

They scored a grand total of 3 points in those 3 games in the 3rd quarter, and 2TDs in the 4th, not counting the two garbage TD's they had against Bama in the last 2 minutes.

They start strong, but absolutely cannot finish. Hold them to 17 or under in the first half and it will likely be a blowout for LSU.

I like it. Now the question becomes how many of us will have our #WeinersOut during the national anthem...

On any short yardage situation, give the ball to Williams. That dude always falls forward and seems to always know how to pick up crucial short yards.
