With Pete Rose being the Barkley...quick witted, funny, never know what he'll say next...stellar playing career and very good actual baseball, analyst. ARod and Frank are great complimentary pieces and they all have great on camera chemistry.

They finally figured out cookie cutter, boring analysts like Nitkowski don't work with Pete so they relegated him to a side stage with little to no camera time.

I had this same thought last night while watching after the game. There constant ribbing of AROD about how much money he's made and asking Pete about "watching" games in 1908 was great television.

Arod has a great baseball mind. Way different than I expected. I could see him managing.

The Hurt and Hustle show on FS1 was pretty entertaining. Premiered last week. I will watch again.

If they Replaced him with Millar, the OP might be more accurate

I see your comparisons, but there is nothing, and I mean NOTHING that'll come close to what Inside the NBA has. Their chemistry is untouchable. Best sports studio show of all time. The only thing that'll rival it is the Original Gameday with Fowler, Corso, and Herbstreit

Actually the 'original' gameday was Brando, Beano Cook, and Corso in the studio. Beano and Corso with Fowler taking over as host in 1990 was an incredible show in its own right.

The classic clip of Beano yelling, "I can hear Fowler!!"
Is from that old show.

However, nothing can beat the classic , ON CAMPUS lineup of Fowler, Herbstreit, and Corso. Before Lee had his health issues, that show was as good as anything on ESPNs airwaves ever...it has gotten too bloated now and somewhat forced with all the different analysts they have crammed into the show.

I like the big h. A rod is trying too hard to pronounce his words into a way that I guess he feels smart people speak.

Frank just has that nervous energy, and uses every cliche in the book. He's the king of saying a lot but actually saying nothing. He's like a smarter Harold Reynolds

While very entertaining, I enjoy Millar and Rose just as much.

And TNT with Barkley and Co is must see tv.. I often watch it without ever watching a single second the game prior to it.

Totally, I wouldn't know because I'm a basketball fan, but I'd venture to say you don't have to be one to enjoy EJ, Kenny, Chuck, and Big Fella

In shots where they are all standing, Frank Thomas totally dwarfs everyone else in the shot. He is an enormous human.
