Those idiots just created their own email scandal. If somehow Alabama ends up getting the short end because of their gamesmanship, the SEC will come down on them like a ton of bricks.

Is it really though? Or is it somehow gonna hang over our heads? Because that's what it's starting to feel like.

Not sure I'd call them "guys" either.

Unfortunately, I think this reflects negatively on LSU more than UF. They have the cover of "protecting their players and seeing to their families" due to the hurricane while LSU is only interested in football.

For the most part, the coverage I've seen and heard is skewed to UF's favor.

Hope it works out for LSU.

I don't read many sports forums, but on the college football sub-Reddit, the attitude is firmly anti-UF. The only ones really defending the situation are those with Gator flair, and even some UF fans think they weasled their way out of a rout.

Why would it hang over our heads?

Actually they don't when other Florida schools are playing today or tomorrow and they are still allowing their other teams such as volleyball play today and they are hosting recruits...

If it were truly their reason they would have suspended all sports and activities this weekend...

The fact they are hosting recruits is a bad look

LSU needs to tell anyone who would bring this up, to STFU and see LSU 2005.

LSU sent it's team damn near across the country to play a "home" game at ASU. Then shortly thereafter had to move a game to a Monday night because of Rita. LSU did what it had to do to make it's games happen.

Then they need to remind everyone that UF is the problem, because they are scared of getting beat and are trying to weasel their way out of a hard game. UF's last concern is safety, their motive is that they think a division foe is going to drop a couple and that this is their ace in the hole.

It is extremely underhanded what they've done and UF's players and fans should be concerned that their coach and AD are cowards.

LSU has gone across the country and moved dates to make a game happen. South Carolina came here to make a game happen. All similar or identical situations and UF supposedly can't make the game happen? Foley and McElwain need to tie kerosene rags around their ankles to prevent ants from crawling up their legs and eating their candy asses.
