Why can't LSU just say we will decide on the makeup game

At a later date??
It's obvious florida dragged their feet as long as they could to benefit themselves. Leave the 19th as a possibility and decide at a later date if lsu will agree to it. By then LSU will have a clearer picture as to whether it will actually affect postseason aspirations. If the game matters, then we will agree to it, if it doesn't matter then fla loses a home game and we don't care.
No reason this decision has to be made now as they waited less than 48 hours before the game to make this decision

There is no later date

Tell them we will decide on 10/23. Gives plenty of time for all to plan.

Nov 19th is the day UF is offering. They know it sucks for LSU but they can flip the script and blame it on LSU if the game isn't played.

I'm just saying hold the November 19th date as a possibility and if things are shaping up where it benefits us to play the game then we will agree to it but if we drop another game and there is nothing to gain then screw florida and just play south Alabama at home.
I see no reason we have to agree to the nov 19 game today or really anytime in the foreseeable future

That should be Alleva's line tonight

The SEC screwed this up ... the SEC should figure out a fair fix. Like move the SECCG back a week .. unprecedented except for 9/11 I know but really ... to lose S Alabama and play on the road for 3 straight SEC weeks would suck.

The 19th won't happen. That would be absolutely insane to agree to that after the bs they pulled on us

Not according to Joe. He said there has been no talk of reschedule

What date? Don't want to give up a home game.

Flip the script... Florida and Georgia have to bump the cocktail party by a week because both have open dates that week.
We can't lose out on a home game because Florida decided they didn't want to look at contingencies until today.
If Florida or the SEC office has a problem with this, then maybe they should have tried harder to make this week work.
