I would love nothing more than to explain the whole situation in the decision-making process, but I'll keep it simple for the 'tards...CLM and Cam were somewhat apprehensive about losing the team if they didn't give BH a full chance to win the job first before yanking him...that's all I will say about that, but does anyone remember that several players quickly came to BH's defense and "had his back"...if you have a room temp. IQ, you will get my drift...case closed!!!!! Leave it alone now!!!!!

Why does everyone keep asking this?

Because it is exceptional easy to see the poor judgment, or is it preferential treatment?

Because we are avid, die-hard Tiger fans who want to move beyond the inept coaching.

Because those clowns get paid exceptional salaries, and are not earning their pay.

The second I saw Etling make that shovel pass under pressure I knew he was a gamer. The dude just keeps a cool head. That's all we need if this defense keeps improving.

The second I saw Etling move around in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield his first possession I knew he was better than Harris.

The players had to first be shown that BH had not progressed...ie, Dupree being hung out to get killed again, etc...then, step 2, insert BE and let the team see the difference in a live game...so that the team leaders could in good conscience and politically correctly go along with the choice of Etling...do I need to spell it out any more clearly????

Miles was afraid of pissing off the North Louisiana coaching community. Same reason, different locale for Jordan Jefferson.

You're really underscoring the incompetence of this staff to actually coach the team and instill a 'play for championships culture.' Who is actually making the decisions on this team/staff?

I don't think Brandon is a bad QB. I think he's being forced to play in a system that's not a good match for what he can do.

From what I've seen thus far Etling is a much better fit what we're trying to run on O. Was it really necessary to jeopardize the season before we would play the best player at QB?

This is just more proof-positive that Les does not actively pursue championships.

Very simply...you fall in love with arm talent. I'm sure when the two of them are in shorts and a helmet throwing 40 yd go routes against air to your talented 5 star WRs, Harris' throws look all world compared to the considerably weaker throws of Etling, which tend to hang just long enough for any competent SEC safety to make a play on. Of course there is more to football than go routes, but since you can't really simulate a game during practice (where Etling's short to intermediate game would shine), you go with the guy with the gifts.
