Doesn't matter. This board has given up on the season

If only our coaches would improve from week 1-2.

Yet another one of those complete bullshite myths that people always trot out when a shitty team looks shitty in its first game.

File that one away with others like a QB always improving from his first year as a starter to his second year, young players improving as they get more experienced, coaches learning from their mistakes and correcting problems in their shitty programs, and all the others.

None of that shite ever happens unless you have good coaches. And it hasn't happened at LSU in a long time. At least 12 years, to be exact.

If you are talking about the defense, then I agree. I saw some positives in the second half.

I saw enough of the offense in the first half that as long as Harris is the qb, this is what you can expect. He had 5 or 6 games last year with single digit completions. He was barely on 50% completions yesterday. The kid is not a pro style qb and won't be. Nothing against the kid, he is not that type qb.
I see 4 losses with Harris at qb.

If you are going to run a pro style, then don't recruit the running qb,s. I put that on the coaching staff. Either change offensive philosophy or recruit the guys that can manage the game. You don't need a 5 star guy, just someone that can make the short passes and keep the defense honest.
