I'm about to be in the market for a new phone, currently have a Galaxy S5, but the battery life is complete shite, even a new replacement battery is not good after upgrading to Marshmallow. I have to buy either a Galaxy model or LG G4/G5 because of my tethering.

I Also have a grandfathered in unlimited data plan so I have to pay full price, up front so any good deal would be great. Doesn't have to be the newest and best variant either, I'm pretty lax in that regard.

S7 edge had the best battery life of the 2016 flagships. 3600 mah. 7 or 8 hrs of SOT and can easily make it through an entire day on a single charge.

gsmarena.com or phonearena.com both have charts that tell you the best battery life of phones.

I think I'm going with the S6 Edge Plus. Anyone had any problems this phone? I know the battery is not replaceable and there's no sd card expansion, but I'm not paying $800 for an S7 edge.
