Came up from safety to the goal line and should have tackled the QB either at the goal line or at the one, instead allowed another 5 yards because of his arm-tackling.

Kid definitely needs to be taught tackling techniques. He's a weird prospect. He's enormous, so I can easily see him moving to LBer...but his strength is his ball skills, and his weakness is his tackling

Definitely. Rarely puts a shoulder in run support.

But he looks like PP7 did when he catches INTs with two hands way up in the air over intended WRs.

-Nice blocking downfield. Pancaked the DB.

-Next play for a gorgeous 45 yard bomb TD on a go route. Beat the D by 10 yards. Best athlete on the field,

Pretty easy to see why he is an elite prospect. Great athlete with very good size and his ball skills are incredible. He did good suckered in on play action several times and his tackling technique was lacking but it's clear who the best player on the field was while watching him. Very excited to have him apart of this class.

What you guys have to remember with jacoby Stevens that he plays both sides of the ball and he will have to take some plays off. Just reading this thread I saw several posters stating this. I watched Kevin Tolliver play both sides out here(trinity Christian hs)it was televised on TV looks like he was just not trying sometimes. Looked like KT will be just fine with us at LSU. I am sure JS will be same. Just hope he stays healthy and can't wait to see him in purple and gold
