Good weight gain. Hope he has a good year for us at DE!

I was really high on him coming out of high school. We recruited him as a DE and he played tailback for his high school team which shows you how athletic he is. Hopefully the light comes on in year 3 and he becomes a solid player.

If Clark can give us productive snaps I will feel really good about our line

Similar to Lewis Neal?
I hope we see more and more of these "surprise juniors/3rd year players" that means we are recruiting and developing well. (See Bama)

This. He was the number one player coming out of OK.

I think he was in the doghouse most of last year. Hopefully he learned from that and can contribute this year!

I know shite, but he better bring it bc it certainly seems like several of the freshman D line guys are pushing past him

Whats the deal with MJ patterson, haven't heard a peep out of him in awhile. Looks like he's in pretty good shape. He and Clark don't have many updates come out

MJ is running at one of the linebacker spots. But he also seems to be behind White, Divinity, Martin, and Thornton

Hope he's ready to contribute. Really rooting for him along with all the players.

Les and staff have really built some depth that we haven't seen in a while. The early departures to the NFL were an unprecedented amount. Helped the Lsu brand in recruiting for sure but absolutely set us back on the field and it showed against the more physical teams. 1st-2nd yr players vs 3-4 yr players doesn't usually fare well.

What did he weigh last season?

I look forward to seeing all the LSU D-Line this year. Two seasons under Coach O teachings is going to make a deference compared to shite bricks.

I had high hopes when we recruited him, he's quick and has a great first step. Glad to see he put on size.

Yeah but unlike other players he's still on the team. Usually that means the player is doing something right. I watched the spring game last week and he played pretty good and was in on a lot of snaps. Maybe he's putting it all together, that guy had some crazy potential coming out of high school.

he showed flashes his freshman year. Hopefully after a rough sophomore year he's starting to put it together
