or similar brand? There's not a public lap pool within 50 miles of me and a typical backyard pool isn't conducive to serious workouts. The videos sure look appealing but I'm interested in hearing from actual users.

We have a pool and a pond.

The pond would be better for you.

What exactly is wrong with a regular pool? You don't even have to make a flip turn if you don't want to. You cant do shite with a lap pool outside of exercise.

Swim 15 feet, turn around and swim another 15 feet.

Exercise is why I want a pool. IDGAF about laying on a float in the water.

Endless pool also makes the Fastlane System that can be put in a regular pool. I don't know anyone that has used either the Fastlane System, or a regular Endless pool, though.

Fast Lane is the way to go. The regular system is expensive and is only useful as a "lap" type pool. Fast lane is like 8k if I'm remembering right and can be used in your regular pool (if it's set up in a way that allows it).

If I was building a 30k+ pool, I'd install it. I hate going to the pool at the gym. But you can also get those band systems that let you swim in place for like 100 bucks if you aren't looking to break any olympic records.

If you love in central Louisiana why don't you just get a membership to the LC gym?

Because it's an hour each way. Add an hour swim and 10-15 minutes to get dressed before and after, and there's half your day gone.

I have a friend who had one. enormous electric bill.

otherwise, pretty nice. I used it a couple of times.

he is cheap.

if you factor in travel to a swim club and membership and you get the benefits of swimming, its a winner.

Maybe you can get your MD to prescribe it.
Might be a proven medical deduction.

Anyway, they work.

Stop being such a baby. Find the nearest river and try swimming against the current.
