After getting embarrassed the last two years, LSU players have the Arkansas game circled... Believe dat!

We let them get in our heads. That's the only thing that should scare you.

Because you are having nightmares of the last 2 years

Agree that if we lose to Bama I'd bet on Arkansas beating us too... If we win though I'm sure we'll carry that momentum over into that game

If we lose to bama we lose to arky. If we beat bama, we ride tbe horse way past Arkansas to the ship.

Because we got beat like a red-headed step child the last 2 years and barely beat them the 2 years prior to that whenever they weren't even a bowl eligible team.
Ark lines were bigger. traditional Bret beef.

Who's driving the train there now? Brandon Allen is gone, is it his younger brother? I know he's on the team.
If that's the case,

I moved from LA to the Ok/AR state-line (Ft.Smith, AR) when I was 9 years old (currently 37). This game has, for the most part, been a war. Living in the heart of Razorback country I either get too talk or hear a lot of shite every year.
WE HAVE GOT TO WIN THIS YEAR!!! If I hear one more thing about "The Boot" being in Fayetteville... :banghead:

While working in Little Rock, all Arky fans talked about was beating LSU.
Winning the Boot is the ultimate for them.

they already have one foot up on us. they know what offense we'll be running.

We have been losing to Arkansas because we havn't been able to control the line of scrimmage against their fronts for the past 2 years b/c we have been recruiting smaller more athletic guys to there bigger stronger guys. If we would have been able to show a smidge of a passing attack the past 2 years we beat Arkansas.

They match up well against LSU because they're extremely physical just like us. That's their HC's philosophy. They also give us their A+ game always since it's a big rivalry for them. Bad ingredients. It's always a dangerous game.
If you want to beat LSU you cram it down their throat with the run game. Not a coincidence we gave up like 60% of our rush yards on the season allowed on defense in a 3 game spread. All loses. That's the formula to beat LSU. Run it right at them and keep the defense off balance. Being one-dimensional it doesn't matter if you have an all-world QB throwing all over us they're going to make plays on the ball eventually. Nobody can match up with LSU and outclass us with a one-dimensional pass team because they can't get past our athletes. You can do it with a power run game though.
Luckily for us Sumlin is too much of a dumbass to figure out this formula which is why Lesticles loves making him his bitch. Sumlin thinks he can just spread LSU out and throw on us. You play like that with LSU's athletes they're bound to win which is why I wasn't worried about TT in the bowl game. You can spread us out but the only way it's going to work is you have to commit to the run. Freeze understands that which is why Ole Miss whipped our arse too. Spread teans are not our concern. More traditional power teams are. I'd be concerned about Bama, Arkansas or even to a lesser degree, Wisconsin.
Any major opponent we see this year where they're committing to the run early and being successful with it...LSU is in trouble. We've been lacking a dominant DL since 2011 and that's the formula that beats us. Hopefully we have a dominant DL this year so we force teams into the strength and teeth of our defense which is the secondary.

I think the coaches have this game circled now too. Supposedly Beliema has been doing some negative recruiting of LSU to Louisiana kids and they aren't happy about that.

That can change this year. TV getting in backed with Big Ed (crossing fingers on the Clearinghouse) R. Lawrence and Dev White assisting Beckwith with manning the middle behind the big uglies will most certainly change the dynamics. They took advantage of our lack of depth on DL in recent past. In the future their power run should be contained.

Why does the Arkansas game scare me so much?
Because we are going to lose it! We are going to be so beat up and devastated after the loss to Alabama that we are going to lose to them too.
Get ready for it people. This year will be the exact same outcome as last year, go into alabama game unbeaten and high just to fall flat on our faces to them and Arkansas
