Pixar scores have received a lot of critical acclaim, which they should with Michael Giacchino, Rand Newman and Thomas Newman composing for them. And Alan Menken is tied for third most Oscars ever for his work with Disney.
But because Iron Giant was a box office dud, and because it was not tied to Disney, Michael Kamen's score for the movie doesn't get much credit.
