We have 3 TEs under contract for more than 1 year I think, that would make 0 sense.
I wouldn't be surprised at a Safety pick, SP has mentioned Safety as a need multiple times.

My response was actually to chatchit42 but I agree that we need a Guard. I'm just tired to having a record settingly bad defense and although I love the Rankins, I think we're going to need more than just him to turn it around. I wouldn't mind a Guard as watching Brees get smacked around last season was depressing but I still think we need more d line help.
