Posting Exam/Test Scores by SSN

When I was in college, this is the way profs let you know what you made on tests and exams. They would simply post the scores outside of their office or the class listed by social security number. This was in the late 80's when identity theft wasn't a problem. How do they do it now?

if they release to whole class, they can do it either by ID# or you create an alias. Most times, they post it online to your "moodle" account where only you can see it.

Usually you can just view them in your moodle/blackboard/etc account. If posted in paper its done by your student ID number. At LSU that's also known as your "89" number as its listed as 89-xxxxxxx.

I too am of the age when test scores were posted by SSN.
Que the old man jokes now.
To which I shall reply, but nowadays with all these pansy arse millenials being triggered by everything, including the stigma of not doing well on tests, grades are no longer used. Everyone gets a big fat pat on the back for being in class, then when their mommys come pick them up after class, they get taken out for ice cream.

I use to love when they would post the scores outside of the class room on the wall. I would find my score and look to see what the rest of the class did. I loved making the highest score on each test. Ahhhhh, good times.
