Something doesn't make sense.

Per ESPN last week we were supposed to have the best recruiting class of all time by far. We only lost a couple of recruits yesterday but we gained a great one in Fulton. So how do we drop down to 3? I cannot stand the media and their BS. I still love our class and proud to be a Tiger, but ESPN are a bunch of clowns.

No we lost one recruit - Fowler "but gained Fulton" and Coxie has not signed yet because of academic issues but did not flip.

Lost 2 top 300 guys that they expected LSU to sign, and previous record was 19, which is where we sit. Lost that 2 player cushion, that's why the expectations...

It's not just ESPN. It is also scout, rivals, and 247. It's not a mass conspiracy. On paper, talent wise, pre-college, there are schools who signed classes better than ours. We filled our class with tremendous players who filled great needs for our program. Be happy with the class and don't put so much stock into the dropping of the class ranking wise at the last minute.

They expected us to gain the #18 overall player and we didn't, they were counting the #132 overall player and we lost him, and the "all-time" talk already factored in Fulton. It isn't some big conspiracy. Taking away 2 highly ranked players from a total of just 25 is a decent hit.
It's like questioning why the 2007 Patriots aren't considered a GOAT team since people were saying that about them a week before the Superbowl and all they did was lose 1 close game. 18-0>>>>17-1 just like 20>>>>18.

Get over the fricken rankings for recruiting. We did miss on a couple of studs. Having said that, LSU is in great shape for a big run.

Choctaw, I know from your post history that you're not stupid, but if someone only saw this post of yours it would be hard not to think you were.
If the recruiting services assigned the same number of points to everyone in the top 100, then the same to everyone in the next 200, you'd have a point.
Tulane could make the argument that LSU and Tulane each signed the same number of recruits in the top 2,000, but LSU's class is ranked higher. LSU bias!!!!
LSU signed Leonard Fournette two years ago. Should we have gotten the same credit as some team signing the 100th rated recruit?

The reason they are clowns is because for about a month they talked about how we had the greatest class of all time. We lost one recruit and we dropped to 3. I was just trying to make sense of it. And oh yeah get over rankings. So if we were ranked 14 yesterday you would not t have cared at all right? So your just not supposed to worry about your rank at all huh?
