You don't have to be an educator to give your suggestion but I just thought educators would relate well to the situation below.
I have a student that is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Big time slacker. Tomorrow his classmates have an hour Math test but he can't take it because he has a sling on his writing arm. I can't send him to the library during the hour test because he is not the kind of kid that takes initiative to study on his own.
Here is my question for all of you parents and non-parents: Any suggestions to keep him busy while I'm keeping an eye on his classmates?
Side note:If you sneeze with your eyes open you can actually rapture a blood vessel in the eye.
ETA: For those wondering if his hand is any good to write, the answer is no. He has a cast on his arm inside the sling.

Put him on a computer doing fast math

And in one post you let everyone know you're a shitty teacher. Part of the problem with students today is teachers like you.

Stephen Hawking didn't just quit when he lost all motor function. Tell him to stop being a pussy.

Give him a multitude choice version of the test and he only needs to circle the correct answer.

Oral exam
Multiple choice
True-false
Or
Threaten to break his other arm

is his hand broken? Is he completely incapable of writing?
If yes to the above, have him tell an aide or the counselor how to solve each problem. First, subtract 2 from both sides, then divide by 6, X=4.
If he can write, hen he can take the test. It's a sling not a full hand cast.

Not sharp and a slacker...just give him a C without taking the test.

see your SBLC chair and enact an emergency 504 plan to get a scribe for him. Can be done in 10 minutes

Not 504, just teir 1 RTI, 504 is a whole bunch of work, and he wouldn't qualify

As in it will go straight to heaven without the rest of your body while the rest of us will have to decide whether to accept the mark of the beast?
