This is fairly standard practice throughout the college game.
So you put him in and tell him to play smart and the official makes a bad call and now he has three?
The wheels came off in the last two minutes , but they had the lead until absurd carelessness in the backcourt cost thm.

Thread is dumb. You can't play good D when you are worried about fouling. Sitting him was 100% correct decision.
