If we are signing 27 and we have 4 of them that are EEs and already in class, this means those 4 count towards last year, right?

So we expect 23-24 slots still for this year, to stay under the 85. Otherwise, we could sign up to 29 -- that's if we expect none of the 25 to have to go JUCO/greyshirt route.

early entries can only be counted back to last years class if there was room in last years class to count them back to. So for whatever amount we were short of 25 in last years class (taking into account that some of last years class may have also been counted back to the 2014 class and through non qualifiers) is how many we can count back from the 2016 class. I don't know what that number is. (also of course have to take into account the 85 player limit which usually isn't an issue)

2 people from last year's class didn't qualify so we can back count 2 from this class which gives us space for AT LEAST 27

but did any from last years class count back to the previous years class? If so we can we can go to 28 in this class (which I believe is the max that you can actually sign these days although you can take commitments from more than that but you just can't sign them on signing day which makes your program look really sleazy)

Not sure how gray shirts fit into all this (I believe that is just a promise that we will put them in the following years class as a early entry)
