Should we expect any traffic issues getting to PMAC? (Presidential visit)

I'm assuming LSU would put out some sort of bulletin if there were going to be any, but any info would be appreciated.

Obama really dicked up Pensacola beach one time. We were staying nearby and I heard it was a major clusterfrick over there, but that was an island.

Make yourself a fake Pakistani ID and they'll let you skip all the traffic

Not sure about traffic, but the airport is closed from 6:30 tonight until 1:30 tomorrow. All flight cancelled in and out.

There is no way this can be true. You can't shut down an entire airport for hours just because the president comes to town

He could if he wanted to. I doubt he does though. When he visited NOLA I think it was closed for a few hours. Interstate was only closed for like 30 minutes each time he drove on it though

The airports are only "closed" for landings within a small window surrounding the landing to clear the airspace.

I was at NAS in Pensacola watching the Blue Angels fly when Air Force One came in. Traffic stood still for 3 hours. Was just fricking absurd. It was a few months after the BP oil spill.
