According to UPS tracking, I received my 30oz RTIC tumblers yesterday but didn't check the door when I got home. I'll open it tonight and compare it to my 30oz Yeti and report back.

Got mine last week, material is a little bit thinner on the RTIC and feels a bit lighter, but nothing drastic. The lid on the Yeti seems to be better made, but RTICs doesnt feel cheap by any means. Seems like the RTIC lid may not turn cloudy like the Yeti though.

My RTIC lid should be here on the 28th. Really dont use the cup right now but I probably will when I get the lid.

It does feel a little lighter and the "ding" isn't as deep when you pluck it like it sounds when you do the same to the Yeti (thicker metal = deeper "ding"). The lids seem about identical to me. Same gasket, same material. RTIC seems a bit clearer though. The RTIC lid fits in the Yeti just fine but doesn't feel as snug as it does in the RTIC. Still fits and secures well just not as tight as the Yeti. If you hold the lids next to one another you can see on the RTIC that the outer diameter of the section that the gasket is around is smaller than the Yeti lid. Also, the RTIC lid has a hole bevelled in the sip hole for a larger straw than will fit in the Yeti.
The dimensions are a little different also. The RTIC is a little taller and the step down to the lower, narrower half starts a little higher than on the Yeti.
Here's some side-by-side pics for comparison.

Did you put water in the Yeti put on the RTIC lid and tilt it to see if it leaked?

Did not. But used the RTIC overnight and it kept my iced water cold and still had about half the ice left in it this morning. That was from 9pm last night to 5am this morning.
I'll try the water leak test on the Yeti, using the RTIC lid tonight.

That lid may be worth it. I have spilled my 30oz yeti down the front my shirt too many times.

You need to get on that test ASAP. WPB was thinking about it last night and needed to know as soon as he woke up.

Did it more for a bump, thread was already on page 3 (would have been page 10 if this was the OT).
