Best "bang for your buck" surround sound system/sound bar

I ordered a Vizio 5.1 42in soundbar with wireless subwoofer and speakers for $169 on black friday but I was told today it is on back-order. I search around and see that they are out of stock in numerous stores so I am thinking that they are probably not being made anymore (at least the system with the 42in soundbar). Any other deals for surround sound system with a soundbar? TIA.

i got the same one. what you ordered for 169 is the 2013 (2014?) model that is a little different. supposedly that one is better, but you can also get the current model for a little more. however, the review i read said it wasn't as good as last years model.

I got LG LAS450H from Walmart a few weeks back for $169 and have been happy with it

Thanks. Didn't have to pay tax last week so now I'm looking at a $30 price increase. Oh well.

ouch. keep an eye out i bet they get marked down somewhere else before christmas (and possibly on amazon too).
