You think the crowd was chanting his name and he was carried off the field just for beating a lousy Aggie? It's pretty obvious tonight was meant to be a send-off.

Sorry to break it to you but the majority of our fanbase is mad up of idiots. Those inside the stadium are worse than on this board. They've been calling for the head of Les since 2008. Whether you agree or not our fanbase does not stand by Les as a coach but as a person.

no they don't you dumb mofo. You confuse the very vocal minority on this forum as being the majority. The majority are nothing like you twits.

Stalking, balltaster?
As I've said, the success of the team is much more important to me than that of the coach and certainly more so than some childish forum banter.

You mean the rant doesn't represent the monolithic opinion of the entire fanbase, but rather a lunatic fringe?

Well hush my grits

As bad as it looks now with the program whether you are pro or anti Miles being retained, what if Les was offered and took another job in the next several weeks and accepted. Yes I know some would be happy and some sad, but damn LSU would look worse and if Alleva's rep could possibly be damaged more...well that would do the trick.

I agree w/ you, but I think that's a good thing. Look, Alleva did a great job the past 2 weeks of making LSU look like shite. Seeing fans holding up signs, and giving Miles a standing ovation, the players carrying him off the field, Fournette's postgame comments, hopefully can repair the damage that has been done.

I mean, are you kidding me?! Alleva lets Miles hang out to dry the better part of two weeks, then tells him after this game, "Oh, hey Les, you can keep your job!" If you were Les, wouldn't you respond, "well, thanks, DICK."

Personally, I was ready for Miles to go. But if he's going to stay, do you really want recruits to think he has no support? That's why the fan support at the game was a good thing.

A couple of signs on national television said for les to stay. All week ESPN said LSU is dumb. I live in Georgia so I probably know nothing. But from what I've read on here and from the advocate and national media it seems like everyone is ready for him to be gone. I don't know what else I should go off of.

And those blaming the fans are retarded. If all this BS hadn't been floating around the last couple of weeks, you wouldn't have seen what happened tonight. And then, Alleva could of done his thing and found a replacement for Les.

The man didn't deserve to be drug through the mud for the last two weeks and that's why there was the out cry of support.
