I know the mood has really soured around here over the last few weeks, but my wife's family is in town from Texas/California and I will be bringing them to their first ever SEC football game.

I'm trying to give them the best possible experience and am looking for a list of "must-dos". So far I have: Chimes, Mike the tiger, my cousins tailgate, and the band pregame. What else would you suggest?

Backstory: my wife is a Baylor grad and her sister goes to Texas Tech, so they already don't like A&M. Both parents went to California State colleges and are in there late 40s.

Roam Parade Grounds or RV lot and let tailgaters know you're a LSU virgin and they'll take you in and feed you. Stop by Barnes and Noble near LSU Union and buy some LSU gear. Our tailgate is under oak at Memorial Tower (look for green carpet) if you want to stop in for food and drink. Head toward Mike's cage, watch team band come down the hill, and then enter stadium early for pre-game.

buted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart.

I don't think they will have a full appreciation for what the game is like. Thousands will not be in attendance and the student section will be DEAD. However, they must see the Aggie halftime show. Their marching band is stellar and not to be missed.

Just to be clear, this isn't my first game
I went to school there. I'm just bringing new people and it will be there first game.

I agree though, it sucks they have to experience LSU like this.
