After the Bama game Fournette dropped down the list of some people, reasonably so. But a lot of people also put Henry near the top.
Henry didn't do that great against Arky. When we win, and LF goes runs over Arky, does that put him back at the top of the list?

That was the thing to do this week. After another week or two of his usual numbers he'll be right back at the top.

Man I hope so. Honestly though I have a feeling its over for him. Most of the time the heisman winner has a big moment in big/important games. Mostly thanks to his O line the Bama game did him in. He's a great kid and deserves the trophy though.

It's really not over for him.

The way they vote for heisman with points for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd being 3,2,1 helps Fournette I believe.

I'd assume a large portion still recognizes Fournette as 1 or 2. I'd think that Fournette and Henry may split most of the first place votes but Fournette would probably get all the second place votes that Any other player receives the 1st place vote for.

Once again, Vegad still has him as a comfortable favorite. Which means he is still at the top of the list. Whatever these talking heads say matter zero. Zilch. None. Follow Vegas if you want to know who the true favorite is

It would be a travesty for Henry to get it. He's done nothing special but be Bama's #1 RB. That Drake kid was running just as effectively as Henry.

Fournette has three weeks to run away with it. He's still got time.

They'll give it to fournette. It's just another way of showing how dominant the bama D is. And everyone in the media loves sucking that bama D.

LF's performance or lack thereof in important high visibility games will count more than in less crucial games. Since we are no longer quite as relevant as 8 days ago there will be less eyes and attention to this game. Even a great effort will have less impact on the heisman unless tigergamesmatter

Were we saying this when Guice was ripping off 9 yards a carry?

It's a two horse race as of today. If they put up similar numbers going forward each week, then the Heisman will be decided in Atlanta. That's how the media works, regardless of who deserves it more. Ingram ran for 30 against auburn and then had like 125 yards of offense against Florida the next week and won the Heisman. All things being close to equal to close out the season, then the Heisman will be decided in Atlanta

Good luck today bros

I really expect Bama to lose one more. If LSU handles their business with the rest of the SEC-W, he will be back at the top again. I want to say the year Ingram won it Bama had an uncharacteristically bad game (my memory is poor, was that they year they lost to SC?) and he still won it. It's about how you and your team respond. And we don't have to be in the playoffs to really have Fournette win it, just have to handle the rest of the games.

Na Bama was undefeated the year Ingram won it. The South Carolina game is what put him in the hunt

Don't think LF7 is going to run all over Arkansas unless BH6 can pass. Their DB's stink but they will try and stack box to stop Leonard and make harris beat those crappy db's. If he can hit some throws early then the running game will get going. Otherwise get ready for a Les trying to shorten the game.
