ALDS against the Royals is definitely preferable to ALDS against Price and Toronto.

I don't hate it. Tough matchup for the Rangers. Ball flies out of Rogers Center and Globe Life Park won't exactly help to neutralize their power.

Here's hoping for an all Texas ALCS. The two parks would be absolutely nuts.

Here to pay my respects.

Thanks for knocking out the Angels for us!

Congratulations Rangers fans. Bannister should be Manager of the Year. Fielder is come back PoY.

McCraigBro69 -- you seem really upset and incredibly immature with your constant comments about how shitty of a city Houston is... That's cool, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Like, my opinion of you is that you probably dropped out of college and your boss probably grew up in Houston. I'm probably wrong about that opinion, but your comments certainly have made that a realistic possibility. You should lighten up and enjoy life.

No "r" in the name, chief.

I just hate Houston, that's it.

In all honesty now that the shock from today has mustered off, having both teams in Texas playing well is a good thing. The astro's are here to stay and I know that. Who knows how many more runs the Rangers have at this thing.

ETA: I wish I was a college dropout. I feel like they make all the money.

Toronto is such a shitty matchup for the Rangers, but I thought the same about Tampa Bay in 2010.

Rangers have done well against Price in the playoffs, but it seems like each time the Rangers play in Toronto their pitchers get lit up like a Christmas tree. Doesn't matter who is throwing.

And when the Astros go farther in the playoffs than the Rangers, the world will be back to normal again.

neither team is going very far, so it's not an accomplishment.

bring on the blow jays

they are the hottest team in baseball so it will be very tough, i just want it to go 4 or 5 games and not a sweep

The Rangers playing like shite in Toronto has been going on for years.

I want to say they got swept in Toronto in 2010 for their World Series run.

Records vs. Blue Jays at Rogers Centre:

2015: 1-2
2014: 1-2
2013: 1-2
2012: 3-3
2011: 1-2
2010: 2-5
2009: 1-2

No winning records the last 7 seasons. But I want to say the Rays exhibited a similar pattern of dominance at the Trop until the Rangers ended that in the 2010 ALDS.
