Pressure from our edge rushers

We need to start getting pressure on the QB or they will continue to complete throws. Mike Dettilier spoke about this in his interview with dandy don.

It goes both ways. There is such a thing as coverage sacks.

It's been fine first quarter. But this year, without the depth, they're going to have to commit at least 5 to keep adequate pressure. They're just getting gassed to the point of they just move to create a pocket.

Combination of scheme and depth issues.
We've gotten great pressure in the first half of games (especially compared to last year). But having an aggressive and talented coach like Bebe running the DL means that he's going to be in the DC's ear telling him to rush aggressively with the DL.
This is fine when you've got a four deep rotation of talented DL. But we are a little thin on the front.
All that said, once Mills is back I think we can dial up a bit more edge pressure with DBs because his experience in coverage will help us in man-to-man or deep help in the passing game.
I guess what I'm saying is we need to use creativity to make up for what we lack in depth.

This is it. We need Mills back to man up in coverage and send Jamal head hunting for a sack. We have not done this much yet because we are letting Ricky J and KT2 get their feet wet. The time will come.
