Been running the beta for a few months. Was buggy for a while (as you would expect), but it's very fast.

Pretty much same here. Are you guys going to stick with the gold or do another download and install?

I'd like to wipe my MacBook Air and do a clean install from scratch. How can I do that? I've only upgraded the OS in the past, but this time I want to start fresh.

For what reason? Downloading and installing is basically the same thing. I mean unless you just have a lot of other crap you want to get off.

I just went to disk utility to see about erasing all data. The option is greyed out for me so I guess there is a different way. Also, I hate the new disk utility app.

Is there a way to get the license code off of an already installed photoshop?
I have a mac mini that I might be interested in updating but worried about losing the software.

make a bootable usb with el capitan on it and boot up by
turning off macbook, hold option key and power on then select the install el capitan option.
you can search how to make a bootable usb drive

Installed yesterday. Increased speed and no bugs yet.
I cannot seem to find the San Francisco (system) font to use in applications like Word and Mail.

Installed yesterday on my mid-2010. No slower, can't really tell if it is any faster.
New circle of death though, so that's cool.

Downloaded last night. I haven't really tried all of the features out yet. The ability to identify which tab is playing sound is a nice feature. It's also nice to see that they caught up with Windows 7 and allow you to quickly split the screen between two programs.
