A look at just how soft this team was back in those dark ages known as the 90s

There were a total of 3 wins of any real notoriety

93-defeated #5 Alabama 17-13

95-defeated #5 Auburn 12-6

97-defeated #1 Florida 28-21

That's it. The '97 team probably should have won the SEC that year save the horrible coaching job.

Pray that we never have another decade like this again!

What's really sad about that decade, was how our program was run - Joe Dean was extremely tight with money, which caused us to hire subpar coaches (Hallman) and stick with them for way too long - this really killed our football program. However, when Dinardo was hired, we really started getting some good talent - but, coaching and lack of talent and depth at key positions always kept us from taking the program to the next level. Nick Saban sucks balls for going to Bama, but you really can't understate the fact he transformed our football program - for that, I am greatdul -- the 90's were rough.

In the Hallman era you could sit anywhere in Tiger Stadium that you wanted. Heck, one game I went down on the sideline and Curley put me in the game. After the game was over he asked me if I could come back the next week.True Story!

We also offered lifetime seating options around that time, too.

1992 Mississippi state and 1999 Arkansas wins means LSU has never gone 0-8 in the SEC. Combine that with LSU has gone 8-0 in the SEC means that LSU is the greatest SEC west program in the division.

No other SEC west has gone 8-0 AND never gone 0-8

You can't really blame Dean and then credit Saban. Without Emmert there is no Saban, he was the single biggest influence on the program.

One of the Kevin Faulk teams beat Bama 27-0

The Peach Bowl win against Clemson was a goodo win.

The Independence Bowl win over ND was a good winn - Mealy wiht 200+ yards was a great game.
